Danielle Martin, MA, LPC-A, NCC
Hi there! My name is Danielle Martin. I received my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in education and psychology from North Greenville University (2007). I went on to earn a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (2025). Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the non-profit sector in foster care where I supported foster parents and relative caregivers.
I believe that every person has the capacity to heal when they feel seen, safe, and supported. I am passionate about working with individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, including religious/spiritual and sexual trauma. I am also passionate about healthy sexuality and relationships. Whether you’re carrying the weight of sexual shame, healing from trauma, facing struggles with intimacy or dysfunction, or moving through a big life change, you deserve a safe, compassionate space where you can be truly seen and supported. I work to create a safe and protected space for all people, including those whose identities, beliefs, or lived experiences differ from my own.
I am committed to working at your pace to untangle harmful beliefs, work through shame and fear, and reconnect with you with your body and sense of self. My approach is relational, collaborative, and experiential. Healing isn’t just about talking, but about real, felt change. My practice is trauma-informed and rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection. I will help you gently work through your emotions with support so that you can be more grounded and open. I am trained in and pursuing certification in sex therapy. I have also received training in accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP), internal family systems (IFS), polyvagal theory, trauma-focused-cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma sensitive yoga. I integrate and incorporate elements of each to create a holistic, personalized approach.
If you’re looking for a space where your story will be honored and your healing supported with care and intention, I’d be honored to walk with you.
