Lisa Groh

Alice-Blackwell

Hi! My name is Lisa Groh, and I’m excited to join the GIFT team as the Practice Manager. For the past eight years, I have worked with special needs students in the classroom, and I’ve learned so much from every student I’ve had the privilege of working with. I’m eager to begin this new chapter with GIFT and contribute to its mission.

I grew up in Northern Michigan, where I enjoyed the beautiful lakes and natural scenery. I later moved to South Bend, Indiana, where I met my husband and had our first son. Seventeen years ago, we relocated to South Carolina, where we welcomed another son and a daughter.

Our teenage sons are active on both the wrestling and lacrosse teams, while our daughter plays volleyball and enjoys reading to shelter dogs. Outside of school, the boys run a successful lawn care business, and our daughter operates her own pet-sitting and dog-walking service.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, painting (especially paint-by-number), and making beaded jewelry. As a family, we love traveling and exploring new places together.

I look forward to being a friendly, welcoming presence and contributing to the smooth operation of this amazing center.
