In our half-day workshop we will use the practice of yoga to help your child develop healthy habits for a lifetime of wellness and happiness. The day will be heavily influenced by the practice of yoga, and go beyond the known benefits of physical fitness, stress reduction and mindfulness. We will also develop skills to better your child’s emotional understanding, communication skills, and compassion.

We will aim to discover five key elements: Connect, Breathe, Move, Focus, and Relax. These five keys work together to give your children straightforward, intentional, and fun tactics to succeed. We will learn breathing techniques to slow down the nervous system, develop self-control and connect with their feelings. We will explore yoga poses and movements to release and control every, as well as develop strength and concentration. Our group will play mindful games and participate in activities that strive to practice patience, leadership, and other social skills. Then ending the day with relaxation techniques and storytelling to calm the body and mind.

This full body, mind and spirit experience will build a solid foundation for your child’s emotional and social success in a nurturing and team-building environment.
