Robin Smith, M.ED., LPC
Life is full of change, challenges, and decisions.
When those become critical, you can find yourself at a crossroads, unsure of what to do or where to go. As a licensed counselor, I can assist you in sorting through those issues. I can assist you, your child, or your family, in adjusting to serious life challenges. I can assist those couples experiencing relationship hardships. Those hardships can range from the difficulties of everyday life stressors to the complexities of dealing with affairs. My training and experience provide me with the skills necessary to work with those couples who may have been exposed to trauma while in their past or present relationships. Through counseling, these gaps in relationships can be bridged.
Creating a welcoming space for all, is important to me and I am sensitive to those needs within the LGBTQ community. I am both an affirmed and informed counselor who understands the unique set of circumstances presented to those who are part of this community. I welcome the opportunity to assist those facing any obstacle life can bring.
Offering a space for you is what I do at GIFT. I offer hope, work towards building resilience and enhancing mind/body wellness through a holistic team approach. Through the use of EMDR, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based practices, healing can result. I believe it is a gift to journey with each client to heal their heart, mind, body, and spirit.
Being a Greenville native, I take advantage of the beauty that surround us. I enjoy time outdoors and especially the local hiking trails and mountains. I am an avid Clemson Tigers fan and enjoy watching both football and baseball with my family.
